Meet Mary Love
(Excerpt from God for President)
Hello, my name is Mary Love. I am running for President of the United States.
The Love Campaign is not about me winning; it's about you caring. Caring about each other and about the Earth. It may mean some lifestyle changes, but trust me, you will be happier in the long run. Believe it or not, I do have a bigger picture of things. If we stay on our current course, we will see more human violence, pain and suffering. We will see more natural disasters and challenging climate changes. We will see things we do not wish to see.
Friends, the time has come to remember love. In order for the Earth to glow, for people in America and around the globe to flourish, we need to focus on love. Now, I know there are many who carry the attitude that people should fend for themselves, make their own buck... pull themselves up by their own bootstraps! But does such an approach truly help us to fly?
Dear ones, we all need each other. We were not made to fly alone. And we are not here to judge another's capability and withhold from him, but rather to send love and compassion his way so he can truly soar. You see, love is the fuel for flying and the energy that transforms us. Judgment is the energy that destroys.
I am not affiliated with either major party. And love is not about giving handouts. Love is about truth. It makes everything okay because it does not focus on right or wrong. Love focuses on what is and melts the pain with loving acceptance. The truth is that some of us don't have wings to fly. Some have nothing to eat or a place to sleep. Instead of analyzing or judging others, why not accept what is true for them? Acknowledge their pain, their fears; try to understand them. Allow what is true for another versus what you believe to be right. Help another to fly! Isn't that what life is all about?
The Love Campaign will promote human understanding and cooperation so we can all come together and solve the troubling matters that face us. For love, my friends, takes no sides.
